Q + A

What is a casual elegance dress code?

We’re keeping things comfortable yet polished! We encourage relaxed attire with a touch of sophistication. Our celebration will take place both outdoors and indoors, so we recommend footwear and attire that’s comfortable for both settings. We kindly ask that you avoid jeans or shorts. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Are Children Invited to the Wedding?

While we cherish all the little ones in our lives, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration. Our beloved grandchildren will be part of our special day but we hope you’ll enjoy this opportunity for a relaxing and fun evening out.

How Many Guests Can The Venue Accommodate?

The Chapel at Gruene has a maximum capacity of 114 guests. Narrowing our guest list to fit that number was truly one of the hardest parts of planning our wedding. We are so grateful for the many close friends and extended family who have supported us throughout our lives and relationship. If we could, we would have everyone with us on this special day, but the intimate setting of the chapel means we had to make some very difficult choices. We hope everyone knows how much they mean to us, and how much we appreciate the love and encouragement we’ve received from so many over the years.
